The CNAPP operated exclusively in the EU
A CNAPP (cloud-native application protection platform) is a single security platform covering cloud posture, workloads, identities, data and AI on one platform, replacing six or more separate tools most security teams run today.
one.O Guard is the European CNAPP. With our virtual security expert, you meet EU regulatory requirements continuously, with clear recommended actions, real-time evidence, and the policies and measures for fast implementation and dependable compliance. No US-centric security. No data transfer outside the EU.
- EU sovereignty
- Continuous compliance
- Full transparency
- Maximum security
- Expertise from the Otto Group
"Manual evidence ties up my team for weeks."
Regulatory demand has outgrown manual work. Under NIS2, an audit without complete documentation counts as a violation, regardless of whether an attack took place. Tool sprawl across several clouds means no single picture, no prioritised findings, no time for manual consolidation.
Turn one-off manual projects into continuous compliance.
"Security is slowing down our releases and innovation."
Complex multi-cloud stacks, rising regulatory pressure and new AI risks all land on a team that is already short of experts. Security processes cannot keep pace with fast release cycles, and every change to products or workflows widens the attack surface. Then the enterprise security review stalls on data residency and evidence. Your AI agents can act on findings directly, so routine fixes stay out of the sprint backlog.
Turn drawn-out security loops into quick checks.
"With NIS2 and DORA, I am personally liable for failures to act."
NIS2 and DORA make cybersecurity a board-level matter. Too many point solutions create dangerous blind spots and slow the response in an emergency, and US-first providers often do not cover the EU legal framework deeply enough. If an incident does happen, the risk is not only fines running into the millions, but also direct personal responsibility for the company's leadership under Article 20 of NIS2.
Use our EU CNAPP as a virtual security expert and secure your compliance and resilience.
Multi-cloud. One platform. Absolute sovereignty.
one.O Guard combines native EU compliance with enterprise-grade security: fast to deploy, strong in coverage and built on European law.
EU sovereignty ready
While other platforms are built for US law first, one.O Guard is rooted in EU law, with a German contracting party. NIS2, GDPR and DORA compliance sits at the core, not bolted on for export.
Roll out without a project team
An end to IT projects that run for months. Immediate rollout without expensive professional services. Maximum visibility within 24 hours, without slowing down your organisation.
Close gaps without experts
The virtual security expert guides your teams through remediation with precise instructions. Critical gaps close on the day they are found.
Replace six tools with one platform
We combine CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, DSPM, ASPM and AI-SPM into one complete CNAPP suite. One platform from code to runtime. one.O Guard covers workloads across two or more cloud providers in a single view.
Meet obligations with policies
Policies and benchmarks come pre-mapped to NIS2, DORA, GDPR, ISO 27001, CRA and the EU AI Act. Live dashboards are generated automatically.
Cut your total cost of ownership
Consolidating point tools cuts licences, consoles and handovers. A transparent pricing model keeps you in control of your security investment.
How to evaluate a European CNAPP
These are the questions our own prospects ask before they shortlist. They are worth putting to every vendor, including us. Our answers to all six sit on the platform and continuous compliance pages.
| Question | Why it decides the outcome | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Evaluation framework | ||||
| Sovereignty | ||||
| Sovereignty | Under NIS2 and DORA, you have to answer for your suppliers too. Is your security vendor compliant with the same rules you are? | A vendor based outside Europe can only give you what the contract says. An EU-centric vendor already works under the rules you are trying to stay compliant with, so there is less for you to check and less to explain later. | ||
| Evidence coverage | ||||
| Evidence coverage | The week before the audit: does your team assemble the proof, or does the platform already hold it? | Provability is a property of the system. Evidence gathered by hand is out of date the day after you collect it. | ||
| Deployment model | ||||
| Deployment model | When the deal is waiting: what has to be installed in your environment for onboarding, and how many consulting days, before you see a first result? | The deployment model decides how much of month one is your team's work. Ask what the first invoice includes. | ||
| Platform breadth | ||||
| Platform breadth | One risk or three tickets: when a misconfiguration, an exposed key and an identity with too much access are the same problem, does the platform show it once or three times? | One shared dataset means one finding, not the same risk described three times in three consoles. | ||
| Prioritisation | ||||
| Prioritisation | Day one produces a long list of findings. What tells your DevOps team which changes to make first? | A severity queue sorts findings, it does not sequence work. The team needs the few changes that unlock the next security level, and a vendor that publishes how that level is calculated. | ||
What makes a CNAPP sovereign?
A sovereign CNAPP keeps more than your data inside the EU. Metadata and security processes stay there too: every misconfiguration, every over-privileged account, every unpatched service the platform records about your cloud. one.O Guard operates exclusively inside the EU, which ensures that the data and the control over it remain governed by European law. The company you contract with is German. US-owned providers are potentially subject to the US CLOUD Act wherever their data centres sit, so the operator matters more than the region. The chain stays transparent from finding to report, and your regulatory evidence is produced under the same law that will be used to judge it.
Audit evidence from dashboards
Reports draw on live cloud state rather than screenshots and spreadsheets, so continuous compliance evidence is ready when the auditor asks.
Integration beyond the cloud
one.O Guard scans AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and STACKIT, along with the environments around them: GitHub and Kubernetes etc.
Through APIs, findings are pushed into Jira, so they land in the tracker your teams already work in. The same API hands each finding to the agentic AI or LLM you already run, with the context to auto-remediate it: the recommended action and why it matters. AI security posture management (AI-SPM) is part of the same platform.
FAQs about CNAPP
A CNAPP watches configurations, running workloads, identities, sensitive data and AI services together, so findings connect across areas instead of piling up in separate tools. It replaces the separate posture, workload, identity and data tools most teams run side by side.
CSPM (cloud security posture management) is one discipline inside a CNAPP. It finds and fixes cloud misconfigurations. A CNAPP combines CSPM with workload protection, identity analysis, data security and AI security on the same dataset, so risks connect into attack paths instead of isolated alerts. Most teams weighing CNAPP vs CSPM end up needing both.
Entirely within the EU. Otto Group one.O GmbH, a German company, operates the platform, and processing takes place inside the EU only. Data and metadata do not leave European jurisdiction, and EU residency is part of your contract with a German entity, not a policy setting.
No agent for cloud, code or endpoint scanning: one.O Guard reads those through your providers' own APIs. Kubernetes is the exception. Its scanner runs inside the cluster, installed with Kustomize or Terraform, so it can see what the cluster is actually running.
Enterprise security reviews ask what an audit asks: how your cloud is configured, who can reach what, and how you prove it. one.O Guard answers those from live cloud state. It checks your environment against the policies your industry requires, including the controls behind ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA and GDPR, and keeps checking as your cloud changes. Whether the trigger is a customer review, an ISO 27001 audit or a SOC 2 readiness project, the underlying cloud state is the same.
A CNAPP earns its place once the cloud carries a meaningful share of the business and a small team is responsible for securing it. The usual tipping points are a growing cloud footprint, a second cloud provider, a regulation that now applies to you, or a customer audit that asks for evidence you cannot produce by hand. Below that, a single posture tool may still be enough.
Ownership changes can move a vendor's data, and its telemetry, under a new parent company's jurisdiction. one.O Guard is built the other way round: the operating company is German, the platform runs inside the EU, and your counterparty is an EU entity. Sovereignty here is structural rather than a setting, so ask us for the current data-processing terms during evaluation.
